PLATINUM Breeder of Merit

Dot Simberlund of Fieldfine is recognized for her contribution to the German Shorthaired Pointer breed and has been awarded the prestigious Platinum Breeder of Merit by the American Kennel Club.

 

Requirements for AKC Breeder of Merit:

• History of involvement with AKC events for at least 5 years

• Earned AKC Conformation, Performance, or Companion event titles on a minimum of 4 dogs from AKC litters that she’s bred/co-bred

• Member of an AKC club

• Certifies that applicable health screens are performed on her breeding stock as recommended by the Parent Club; the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America (GSPCA)

• Demonstrates a commitment to ensuring 100% of the puppies produced are individually AKC registered

 

Breeders who have produced a number of titled dogs will be recognized at the following level – Platinum:

• Minimum of 100 dogs earning Titles, with a minimum of 60 having earned Prefix Titles
