I have 3 Fieldfine dogs and could not be happier. This is my first endeavor in to the show ring and the support from this kennel is amazing. They help me with all my questions, have met me at show to help me learn, and helped me through pictures and videos. Above and beyond for a kennel. I finished the first show puppy I have at age 17 months all owner handled, but I would never accomplished this without there support. These dogs are not only beautiful but smart. I have ventured into the obedience area and the hunting area and also have great success!

It has been many years and I am terrible about keeping in touch with everyone. But, I saw your e-mail and wanted to share a photo of Tally-ho with you. She has been the best dog. We recently bought a place in the mountains around Asheville and we were out on the boat with Tally when I took this picture. She loves to hike and swim and boat. If you ever wonder how your dogs are doing long after they’re gone, which I’m sure you do, just know that Tally lives better than most people and sometimes better than her owners!

Owner Testimonials
This is a small sample of families who have enriched there life with a FieldFine Puppy
Thank you for choosing us for your new addition and for giving each of them so much unconditional love~
We had the best purchasing experience when we got Cliff! The FieldFine Family are professionals who are very educated about the German Shorthaired Pointer Breed. Cliff gets many complements when we are out and about. Other GSP breeder’s dogs I have come across do not match in confirmation or manners. He is a very gorgeous dog. Cliff is EXCELLENT around our four and six year old children! In the future, we will get another GSP from the Fieldfine Family.

For quite a while I knew I wanted to own a German Shorthaired Pointer. After much research, I was told, in order to get the best GSP available, contact Fieldfine Kennels. Upon meeting Dot and Dorothea as well as the dogs, I knew I had found the right place.
The facilities were immaculate—the dogs were outstanding! During my visit I saw the kennels, met all of the dogs, and witnessed their exercise routine; which included roaming the vast acreage of the property located in the foothills of NC. After touring the property and meeting the dogs—Dot and Dorothea introduced me to the litter of puppies that my new pup was a part of. Once I took possession of my new female GSP “Abby”, I was assured that we would always be in touch with one another. Both Dot and Dorothea have always been there to answer any question that has arisen, which is a tremendous asset. Rest assured, when the time comes for me to get a playmate for “Abby”, which I hope will be soon; it will most definitely be a Fieldfine Kennels pup.

As some of you may know we lost Dirk to bone cancer. It was hard to say goodbye to a close friend. Please feel free to look at the slide show I put together here Dirk Pitt 1996-2007.
It is most of the photos that I took while on the photo a day safari.
We took some time to heal after the death of our boy, and then we stared to look for a new dog. As lucky as we were to have dirk in our lives, we were astounded to find the breeder of dirks line had a puppy. He's a nephew of Dirks. After talking to the breeder we got the Puppy!!!! PLUTO
Pluto has been a welcome addition to our family, and as you can see very photogenic.
There are many similarities to our old dog Dirk, and we are always amazed on how much energy puppies have.
(Toilet paper is a fun toy for puppies, and he needs his walks) He is a very bright dog and is learning proper behavior quite easily. We have started him in the service dog program, and he is now in training.
I don't know where this fits in...
One of the best things about the German shorthair pointers from this line is... they have excellent amounts of energy in the field, and the ability to slow down and be relaxed in the home environment.

Katie is now 4 years old , she is from Raven X Boss Litter. She is both a pet / house dog and a field dog. She was obviously from good lines in that she was a pleasure to train and learned at a fast pace. I use her to quail hunt as well as a retriever for other types of hunting and everyone that has hunted with her has been impressed with her performance in the field.
We also have 2 other dogs and she gets along with them fine.
I know that choosing a puppy from any litter is not a guarantee of a good dog.
But if you start with good breeders like I did it is big assurance of success.
